Unity Re has settled a claim for more than 50,000 USD under an aviation hull & liability treaty of Russian insurance company Lexgarant.

The Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash occurred at 16:05 Moscow Time on Wednesday, 7 September 2011, when Yak-42, carrying the players and coaching staff of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. The Yak-42 plane crashed immediately after leaving an airport near the city of Yaroslavl, on the Volga River about 150 miles (240 kilometers) northeast of Moscow. It was carrying 45 people, including 37 passengers and eight crew, and all but two people were killed in the crash.

Unity Re has remitted the reimbursement within 2 days since a receipt of set of documents normally practiced.
